The Connection Between Being Overweight and Getting a Terrible Sleep

by Yuriko

Did you know that being overweight is not just bad for your immediate health, but it can have lasting affects where you may not expect it?

The one spot that most people don’t really think about is their sleep. Being overweight and obese leads to terribly consistent bad sleeps. And the main culprit is because of sweat.

Sweat is so bad for your body when you sleep because if it can evaporate to help cool you, it will just make you hotter. And this is where almost all bed sheets fail. They either whisk sweat around but never get rid of it, or they soak it up but then can’t dry out fast enough.

Since sleep is vital for good exercise and to help you eat better, you can almost say that getting good bedding is step one.

There are many options that can really help you, but the best is silk. Silk sheets are unique in that they soak up sweat and perspiration very quickly. Because they are amazing with air flow, they dry out really quickly helping you stay cool and keeping you from perspiring in the first place.

They really work. Once you get a great sleep, you can then start to exercise more and eat better to help the rest of your body come down in weight.
