Fresh Bachelorette Party Supplies

by Fatimah Curella

Everything is going global these days, so why not keep the trend with some fresh bachelorette party supplies? I got this idea when both the bride’s mother and one of her closest friends were overseas and couldn’t make it on time for the bachelorette party. But there was no reason for them to miss out on all the fun, as long as they had a decent Internet connection and a webcam. Setting up the systems is very easy, doesn’t require any advanced technical knowledge and can be done by a 7-year old, literally. So we reserved two seats at the table for our long-distance guests and placed monitors there. We also gave them the menu in advance, so they ate almost the same things as we did at the party.

The trickiest thing to arrange was the microphone, since you need something that will capture the entire conversation but eliminate the background noise. We couldn’t settle for anything less than a professional tool. This setting, sadly, only works for the dinner party, where everybody sits down; once you get to a club, the background music will be too loud for decent rendering.
